10 Things I’m Taking With Me Into 2026

This year truly felt like a season of discovering the best of the best. I partnered with a new company for my business, which opened the door to so many exciting opportunities and introductions to new brands—both big and small. It’s been such a joy to work with them, to connect creatively, and to thoughtfully share a few gifted pieces along the way.

As I look back on 2025, I’m feeling incredibly grateful and inspired, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead—more beautiful finds, thoughtful style, favorite beauty staples, and coastal home inspiration. I hope you’ll continue to join me here and across all of my platforms—on my website, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Substack.

Now, let’s dive into the 10 things I’m taking with me into 2026.

1. Wearing Pieces I Love on Repeat

I ordered this vest in a light blue last spring (sold out, seen above) and loved how it made me feel every time I wore it, so I couldn’t resist adding the cream version (also available in black) for the holiday season. Since it feels like summer year-round here in Miami, white is always in rotation, and this one pairs so easily with jeans and a few favorite accessories. I’ve already worn it three times this month—and I know it’ll be on repeat well into the new year.

2. Collecting Basket Bags

I couldn’t get enough of bucket bags in 2025—and now I officially own four. Each one is different, but they’re all equally fun and surprisingly functional, with just enough room for my iPhone and a few everyday essentials. At first, I wasn’t sure if I could pull off the bucket bag trend, but the answer is a definite yes. They’re such a joy to carry and always end up being a great conversation piece.

3. Using New Skincare

This year has been such a treat experimenting with new-to-me skincare brands, and I’ve truly seen a difference. I love discovering products that work well for my sensitive skin and deliver real results. For the record, I don’t do Botox, fillers, or anything like that—I rely solely on skincare, and I’ve really grown to enjoy that ritual. This is just what works best for me. More than anything, I love when my skin feels healthy, hydrated, and beautifully glowy at 54. New brands I love and highly recommend– Elemis and Tula!

New home details I’m loving lately, including pillow covers and my new bed that's back in stock just in time for a sale.

4. Being More Intentional with Decorating

This fall, I really leaned into refreshing our home, and I’ve loved watching it all come together. Adding more seating, thoughtful accessories, and better lighting has made such a difference—especially when it comes to entertaining. No more moving chairs from room to room when guests come over, which feels like a small win that makes everyday life easier.

Looking ahead to 2026, I have a growing list of home projects I’m excited to tackle and can’t wait to share as they unfold. I’m especially looking forward to creating a home office that can also double as a guest room, along with refreshing our other guest room with fresh paint and new bed frames. I want our home to feel welcoming and comfortable for my boys whenever they’re here—and the Balboa rattan twin beds are currently at the very top of my wishlist for one of the rooms.

5. Classic Stripes, Always

You know I love a good stripe, and while I already wear them often, I’m planning to lean into them even more in 2026. Navy and cream will always be a favorite, but I’m excited to start mixing in stripes in other colors too. I already have a few pieces I’m dreaming of wearing because they instantly take me back to summers on Nantucket. Nautical touches have always been at the heart of my personal style, and in the new year, I really want to embrace that feeling even more.

The Favorite Outfits of the Month

6. From the ’90s to Now: My Vest Era

I’m completely obsessed with vests right now. They take me straight back to the early ’90s—I even wore one for my oldest son’s baptism—and I loved them then just as much as I love them now. I’m so happy they’re back because they’re incredibly flattering, feminine, and perfect for so many occasions.

I may or may not have ordered two more this morning because they were on sale (ha!). The pink one I’m wearing is sold out, but don’t worry—another one is already on its way and I’ll share it as soon as it arrives.

I actually wore the pink vest with the matching pants to my grandson’s baptism, which felt like such a full-circle moment for me in fashion.

In the meantime, you can shop the two I ordered today in cream and navy—both were on sale plus an extra 70% off. I already know I’ll be wearing one for New Year’s Eve and saving the other for my 55th birthday.

7. Bucket Hat

I’ll never leave home without this bucket hat. It was my very first purchase on Nantucket this summer, and I loved getting to wear it all week while I was there. It goes with everything, looks so cute with every outfit, and the fact that it’s packable was a major bonus.

8. Coastal Dresses that are One of a Kind

I love wearing resort style dresses that are timeless and classic for coastal getaways and parties at home. This is one I ordered late this summer and looks forward to wearing it multiple times in 2026. It’s the perfect shade of pink and I love the silhouette of a column dress.

9. The Best Hair Products

This year I tried a handful of new hair products that I fell in love with almost instantly—and they’re definitely staying in my routine in 2026. The ROZ Hair Foundation Shampoo & Conditioner has been a total game changer for my hair, and I also really love the Coco & Eve Pro Bond Shampoo & Conditioner for how healthy and strong it leaves my hair feeling. And of course, I always come back to my tried-and-true Olaplex Bonding Shampoo & Conditioner—it never lets me down.

If you’re thinking about refreshing your hair routine for the new year, I can’t recommend these enough. If you try any of them, I’d love to know what you think!

10. Ballet Flats

I’ve always been a ballet flat girl, but 2025 really felt like the year they came back better than ever. I love all the fresh updates—woven styles (like the pair I’m wearing), Mary Jane ballet flats, and all the pretty colors that somehow work with just about everything. One pair was even special enough to wear to my grandson’s baptism, and they were incredibly comfortable while still feeling timeless and beautiful for such a meaningful day. I’m already looking forward to wearing them again in the new year—and I have a feeling I’ll be adding a few more favorites along the way.
