Happy Friday everyone! I hope your week was a fun one! Today, I’m switching gears from fashion to home design and want to let you in on my thoughts and plans for an upcoming home refresh. I mentioned in this post that I was about to order a dining room table. Then, I saw this new dining table that Pottery Barn launched and I was completely torn on which table to buy. Now, I leaning towards buying the dining table pictured below, because it gives me a more rustic look that I was going for. To makes things even better, the buffet that matches the dining room table is GORGEOUS! See the buffet pictured above. The first thing I did was measure out my dining room and the good news is buffet would fit perfectly in the space, plus will give me more room for storage.
The dining table seats 6 people comfortably and when extended seats 8, however, I know for a fact I can squeeze in 10, or even 12 for my family. We’re used to huddling close at big family meals. LOL! Wishful thinking, haha! We’ll see.

By the way, Nancy Myers, the producer of Something’s Gotta Give, It’s Complicated, The Holiday, and The Intern has a new movie for us in theaters on September 8th called Home Again, featuring Reece Witherspoon. We all love Reece! I love the designs Nancy uses in her movies and Something’s Gotta Give was the actual inspiration behind me creating this blog almost 7 years ago. While watching the movie trailer yesterday, I noticed that similar chairs I picked for my dining room are in her movie! How fun is that!
And guess what? Pottery Barn has pretty much the same arm chairs as in the movie! Don’t you just love PB! Anyway I linked them for you here! Enjoy!
Every year, Pottery Barn sells plaid pillow covers in a pumpkin color and I always miss out on them, because they sell out fast. Not this year! I ordered two of them ASAP.
