Good morning everyone and happy Friday! I wanted to show you what’s new in my spring makeup bag, because I noticed I was running out of so many things and didn’t want to officially run out of the them in the middle of my Italy trip. So this week, I ordered some tried and true faves, plus new to-me makeup to help me get that spring glow. First, I needed to replenish my face powder and my go-to for years has been the Lancome Dual Finish. I was told it’s one of the top-selling powders on the market. I honestly love this pressed powder!

A few years ago I worked on a collaboration with Laura Mercier highlighting one of her foundations called, Flawless Fluid and I’ve been using it ever since. However I found out recently that they discontinued that foundation and introduced a new formula. I tried the new foundation yesterday and loved it. It is a full coverage foundation that’s long lasting and even though it feels different from the Flawless Fluid foundation, I feel it really creates a flawless look. I would highly recommend it! The new formula is called Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation.
I was also introduced to this brand of lipstick that I never heard of before called, Guerlain and loved the rich formula so I ordered it in this color, Sun Twin Set. It’s a pretty coral/pink color that looks great when trying to create a dewy glow. It feels so soft on and not sticky at all. In an instant it’s become a new lipstick favorite!
Then the beauty artist showed me this Illuminating powder by Bareminerals. I loved it right away! If you’re looking to get a nice dewy glow, as mentioned above, this is the powder to get. I just got home from Tulsa to find the February Showers of Blessings box sitting on my kitchen counter……Deseriee, everything is lovely. Your “Thank You” cards from Minted are adorable and the pink flip flops fit perfectly. I’ve been wanting to try Laura Mercier foundation and that looks like a good one!
I’ve loved Laura Mercier – I switch to the tinted moisturizer in the spring and summer rather than the foundation. Great brand!
