Good morning friends and family! Today, I’m sharing a post I’ve been wanting to write forever, since it’s always on my heart. I love that the Lord has equipped us with truth on encouraging each other, because let’s be real… we all need to be encouraged. When I read the Word of God, I feel so encouraged and as a result; I know He wants me (us) to share that encouragement with others. The purpose of these scriptures is to give hope, cheer, uplift, inspire, motivate, stir, hearten, and strengthen us. So today, I’m sharing 10 favorite scriptures for encouragement that have uplifted my soul. Enjoy!
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 5:13
Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. Proverbs 12:25
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
