Happy Friday! I’m so excited about the weekend and baking some favorites for my son’s graduation party. Thank you for all the well wishes you sent me yesterday! I just feel so grateful for everything and everybody! God is good!
We’re in total summer weekend mode over here at Beautifully Seaside and I thought it would be great to share tips on how to look stylish on summer weekends. It’s easy to throw on a t-shirt, pair of shorts, and sandals and walk out of the door to run errands, etc. But it’s fun to thoughtfully put together an outfit that’s comfortable and looks great on. I usually have a handful of pieces that I can mix and match in my closet to look stylish. So today I’m sharing my tips and tricks on how to look stylish on summer weekends.

BUY A WHITE TOP THAT GOES WITH ALMOST EVERYTHING
I love wearing white tops and especially when I can wear them over again with shorts, jeans, or skirts. The first thing I look for when ordering a white top is something that stands out and is really pretty. I love eyelet and ruffles, so I usually pick some that that one or both of these styles. I think they’re ultra feminine and fun to wear. The Sezane eyelet ruffle blouse I’m wearing is from a new brand to me from France.
INVEST IN A STRAW BAG
You know I love straw bags! I may even have too many of them, however I always make sure to wear them on repeat every summer. This year round straw bags are in! So you need to invest in buying one, because they’re the ultimate accessory to looking stylish on summer weekends. I really love this one!
HAVE A FEW SHORTS HANDY TO WEAR ON THE WEEKENDS
I love wearing shorts and usually they’re the first thing I order in the spring for warmer months ahead. The pink shorts I’m wearing are from J.Crew and they’re the best! They come in a ton of colors every year. This year (so far), I ordered these shorts in pale pink and I’ve already worn them a dozen times. J.Crew Factory has so many pretty shorts for summer weekends and I’m really loving these for my upcoming trip.
BUY A PAIR OF SUPER CUTE SANDALS
The first sandals I ordered this year are these Soludos espadrilles for my Italy trip. I only got to wear them once in Italy, because it was so cold. However, I’ve been wearing them non-stop since I got home and they go with practically with everything that’s summer.
