Happy Friday everyone! This post has been a long time coming, however I’m excited that’s it’s finally here. The morning after my son and I returned home from his college preview, we hopped on a plane to Canada with the rest of our family and headed to Montreal. I was pleasantly surprised that the flight was only about three hours from Miami to Montreal.
We stayed in Montreal for one night before driving two hours to Mont Tremblant. I have to laugh, because at first it was a little confusing trying to read the signs that were in French. We missed a couple of exits, however my husband and oldest son finally got the hand of it. I just thank God that I wasn’t driving. One of the many beautiful blessings of having adult children is that they can take the wheel on vacation! Ha ha!
Mont Tremblant is a little ski resort community up in the mountains. Everyone is friendly and speaks French and English. The home we rented was located on the top of mountain overlooking Lake Tremblant, the ski resort, and Le Geant Golf. This 5,000 square foot home was spacious for the 11 of us who stayed there. One of my sons was not able to go on vacation with us due to summer classes.
I took this photo in front of the main fireplace in the home wearing my new Roots tee. There was a Roots store in Tremblant Village and I ended up buying five t-shirts from there. They’re so comfy and wash really well.
Outfit Details Roots Tee / J.Crew Field Jacket-old (similar styles) (here too) (love this one) / Banana Republic Jeans (similar) / Tretorn Sneakers (on sale 30% off) / Mark & Graham Hand Painted Monogram Canvas Tote
Here’s the beautiful view from our home rental overlooking the ski resort! I highly recommend this home if you’re planning on vacationing in Mont Tremblant in the summer! This mountain top home was new, clean, comfortable, and close to the little ski town. I love this home! Our room had a cozy fireplace that I turned on every night!
One day, when the rest of the family decided to go ziplining, I walked hiked from the house to the little town you see here in the distance called, Mont Tremblant Village. I forgot to use my app to see how far I walked, however it was fun seeing everything along the way. Walking there was easier than walking back up the mountain! I definitely got my exercise for the day!
There are lots of good wholesome family fun to do in Mont Tremblant! We went on a hikes, took the gondola up the mountain, went to mass at the cutest little church, ate at great restaurants, played games with the family, visited a zoo, and more! This is the website for the Village to see what activities they offer during your trip.
I love this photo! It was taken on one of the side streets in Old Montreal where we stayed for one night before heading back home to Miami. I also found a cute restaurant that just serves fresh crepes! So yummy!

This looks like the cutest trip! We rarely consider going further north but as a kid growing up in Boston, my parents took us to Montreal quite frequently. I know my boys would really enjoy it as well.
I love your outfit too. The white tee with red print is adorable!!!
