This is a great time to save big on summer styles we may have on our wish list. I’ve been looking for girl on a budget summer finds and found this embroidered Island Tank Top by Madewell. I styled this tank with my favorite high-waisted shorts by Madewell and they’re literally one of the best denim shorts I’ve ever owned. I started wearing high waisted shorts and jeans last year and haven’t looked back.
As you may know by now- my summer wardrobe usually consists of a pair of shorts and cute top like I featured here, here, and here. I also love to wear dresses and this adorable dress for under $50 looks amazing in person. Stay tuned for the outfit post next week!

For me, high-waisted is the only way to go anymore! I feel like I’m wearing shapewear and jeans all in one. I haven’t tried these shorts from Madewell, but they are now on my list after seeing your reviews! For any gals looking for high-waisted jeans on a budget, Gap has some seriously great options. I have many pairs in many different washes, and I always feel “pulled in” and put together in them! The fit is true to size too.
I too love high waisted, especially after having my kiddos! I will have to check out the madewell ones, and gap as well as Mary-Irene posted. I usually buy my high waisted from Old Navy. The rockstar fit.
