Here are my tried and true beauty products I used for the first time last year. I have a feeling you’re going to love them too!
I had a lot of fun last year sharing all of my favorite beauty finds with you and wanted to share what was the best of the best. The beauty products I’m talking about today have enhanced my daily beauty routine, so much so that they needed a a dedicated blog post here on Beautifully Seaside. Now that I’m 51 years old, I’ve become quite picky on what beauty products I use, because I know the difference a really good product can make. These beauty buys help me feel refreshed and ready for the day and they’re perfect for women of ALL ages. I hope you love them too!
OUT OF ALL THE BEAUTY PRODUCTS I TRIED LAST YEAR THESE 10 WERE THE BEST
Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner
I wrote a whole dedicated blog post about why I love Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner last year. It’s literally the best hair products I’ve ever tried. Both the shampoo and conditioner make my hair feel so fresh and clean after each use. I also love the smell and the fact that a little goes a long way. If your hair is thirsty for a new shampoo and conditioner to try this year, I highly recommend buying both of these.
Olaplex Bond Smoother
After I use my Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, I make sure to use the Olaplex Bond Smoother that protects my hair when I style it. It’s a leave-in reparative styling creme that eliminates frizz, hydrates and protects. I apply a little to my towel-dried hair then style as using and it’s done a wonderful job keeping my hair protected and soft. One bottle last forever!
Oribe Hair Spray
Hands down Oribe is the best and most expensive hair spray I’ve ever tried. And it’s a game changer for sure! It helps to eliminate frizz and set my hair style. I love that it was formulated using the Miami heat in mind. Another win for this hair spray is that it smells amazing! Ever time I use it, my husband comments on how good it smells. You will definitely want to add this hair spray to your beauty routine.
Necessaire The Body Lotion
I started using this Necessaire body lotion towards the end of the year and my husband quickly became a fan of it too. We love it because it’s fragrance free and doesn’t interact with his cologne or my perfume. It’s made a such a difference in hydrating our skin. Dry patches have been diminished and it’s also the best lotion for your feet when wearing sandals.
Rose Fragrance
I’ve been wanting to order a bottle of this Aerin Rose de Grasse perfume forever and was really happy that Aerin made it available in the cutest bottle for under $100. It’s a beautiful soft rose scent that I enjoy wearing each week and makes such a beautiful little gift to give away.
Layered Colognes
These Jo Malone colognes, Wood Sage & Sea Salt and Peony & Blush Suede were a Christmas gift to me and on the package there was a suggestion to layer them together. That was one of the best beauty tips I’ve ever gotten, because they smell amazing together! I wear them everyday and the scent lasts practically the whole day. You will want to check these out for sure! Trust me.
Full-Coverage Foundation
I have some discoloration on my face and love how this Charlotte Tilbury full-coverage foundation does a beautiful job in making my skin look even toned. I wear it everyday and it’s been good with my sensitive skin. If you are looking for a foundation to cover those dark spots on your face, then this foundation is a great choice.
La Mer The Lip Balm
Another beauty product I started using towards the end of the year has healed my lips. I was experiencing so much dryness and they softened my lips almost instantly. I have to admit this La Mer lip balm is pricey, however my lips are worth it. It’s worth every penny!
