CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY WITH LIVERPOOL

I’m celebrating International Women’s Day with Liverpool Jeans on my social media and wanted to share it here on the blog as well. When I think about the women who supported me on my journey I feel grateful for their encouragement. This is also a very special day as I reflect on my word of the year, friendship. I made it a point to connect with friends that I haven’t spoke to in a while and they were just as receptive. You know those women…. no matter how long it has been since you’ve talked, they will always in your heart.

I also feel grateful to be the first person in my immediate family to earn a college degree. This was made possible by my family who provided the opportunity for me to do so. Earning a degree opened many doors for me and allowed me to fulfill a dream I always had of attending a university. What a happy day that was when I graduated! Now, I’m payed that forward to my children and will for my grandchildren. What a gift it is to see dreams come true!
