I recently read a blog post where someone shared some things that made a big impact on them. They were not the biggest trends or even the best selling products. They were just items or activities that made an impact for them in 2023. I thought I would do the same too! Here are my 2023 game changers! Feel free to share some of yours in the comments below.

My 2023 Game Changers
Homemade Cappuccinos
Someone surprised me with a cinnamon cappuccino earlier in the year and I loved it so much that it became my favorite coffee drink. I mostly love it, because it doesn’t have any sugar in it. Right before the end of the year, I decided to start making them at home. My step-dad gave me a milk frothers and I’ve been enjoying my homemade cappuccinos ever since. They’re so yummy!
Getting Rid of all the Clutter
This has been the biggest win to the start off the new year clean and organized closets. You don’t know how much of a weight has been lifted since I did that. I even cleaned out the linen closet and got rid of old sheets we weren’t using and old towels. It’s so nice to be able to grab a towel that’s not stuffed in the closet.
Attending Morning Mass
I actually started do this in 2022, but I continued last year and loved it so much. It’s one of the perks of working from home that I love. And I feel like it’s the best way to start my day.
Digital Products
You may have heard me talk about my new digital products that I started creating back in October of 2023. They’re such a great addition to my online business and I’m so grateful for the women that have purchased my course that I have gotten to know. Ā It’s been an amazing journey! I earned over $1500 since I started and I can’t wait to help more and more women take action on their dreams of having their own online business. If you’re interested in learning more about digital products, here’s my free guide sharing 35+ digital product ideas.
I also have a course, The Passive Pivot, Ā that teaches you everything you need to know to create your own digital product from scratch. Plus, a 1:1 mentorship that I’m just so excited about!
Ordering from Saks Fifth Avenue
I love ordering from Saks and last year I found the cutest new styles, beauty, and more from there. I think they have the best collection of dresses, including this one that I ordered for my niece’s wedding. I also bought this midi dress recently on sale in navy. I thought it would be a great staple to have in my closet. It’s also available in white.
Being More Intentional with My Buying
As a blogger, the buying can get out of hand, and before you know it you have tons and tons of clothes and no place to put them. I made a choice last year to give lots of my clothes away and just focus on buying a few things that I know I can get a lot of use out of. I have to say, I’m so happy with what’s in my closet right now. Beautiful pieces that I can mix and match and wear over and over again.
Shopping Last Season on Sale
A great way to save is by buying sale items from last season. I really think this has been a huge game changer for me, because it saves money and I’m getting a beautiful outfit at a fraction of the price. For instance, I just ordered this beautiful Alexis dress that’s been sold out everywhere at Saks Off Fifth. It should be arriving in the mail today. Also, that midi dress that Veronica Beard navy midi dress that I mentioned above is a last season purchase. Maybe I should turn this into a series, but I’l need a name for it. Help me think of what I should call this series.
I would love to hear if you had any game changers from 2023 that you would like to share with us. Leave them in the comments below!

My husband was diagnosed w/ throat cancer in June and prompted by his doctor to avoid alcohol during treatment as it’s inflammatory. We both stopped cold turkey. We didn’t have a “problem” at all but wanted to optimize his healing. We also changed our diets fairly significantly, eliminating bad carbs and junk. The effects have been astounding. Weight loss, better sleep, money saved, more energy. These were our key game changers of 2023. The even better news is that my husband is completely cancer free!
