Blackberry Cobbler
I was really looking forward to having the family over for Easter Sunday this year—especially because I had planned to bake something new: a blackberry cobbler inspired by Jennifer Garner. I’d been wanting to try it for weeks, and Easter felt like the perfect time.
It turned out so easy to make, and even better—delicious, especially served warm with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream on top. It was a hit with everyone, and I’ve already added it to my list of go-to desserts for the family.
Most of you may not know that my husband is the cook in our home—he’s basically our personal chef and truly loves being in the kitchen. So contributing something special for the table made me really happy.
If you’d like to try it too, you can watch Jennifer’s video here. It’s simple and so yummy!
Losing Weight
I’m on a weight loss journey again and recently lost 5 pounds—already feeling a difference, which is encouraging. Menopause has been… let’s just say, interesting (ha!), and while I could chalk some of the weight gain up to that, I’ve also been dealing with some foot pain that’s made my usual long walks tough lately. So, I’ve adjusted. I made a plan, started using weights more consistently, and I’m already noticing a shift—not just physically, but in how I feel day to day. I’m hoping to lose another 15 pounds, and I’ll be sharing the ups and downs along the way.

Going Back to Nantucket
My husband and I are really looking forward to heading back to Nantucket this summer. It’s a place that feels like home in so many ways, and we’re excited to return. We’ll definitely revisit some of our favorite spots, but we’re also hoping to try a few new things this time around. It’s always nice to keep a trip feeling fresh while still holding onto the traditions we love. I’ll share more soon about where we’re staying—it’s a spot I’m really excited about. Can’t wait to soak it all in.
If you’ve been thinking about planning your own trip, I brought my Nantucket Guide back by request—just a small treat-yourself price, like a cozy cappuccino. ☕️
Back Patio Refresh
This spring, I’ve been working on a little back patio refresh, and it’s really starting to come together. My husband gave the patio a good pressure clean (which made such a difference!), and I found the cutest outdoor seating that I absolutely love for the space.
Right now, I’m on the hunt for a few more pieces—like a coffee table, a couple of end tables, and a dining table. Once those are in place, I’ll add some beautiful planters and a console to complete the look. We’ve already started spending more time out there, which makes me so happy. It feels like a little extension of our home—just open air and sunshine.

Three Years Later: How My Business Has Evolved
It’s hard to believe it’s almost been three years since I retired early, and I couldn’t be happier with the changes I made nearly a year ago to help my business thrive. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of building stronger relationships with some of my favorite brands and discovering new ones that have quickly become standouts in my content. It’s been such a blessing to collaborate with these incredible brands and share them with you.
