SUMMERY STRIPES AT ISLAMORADA’S SEAFOOD FESTIVAL
Good morning everyone and happy first day of spring! I’m so excited to be blogging after two days off and was able to squeeze in a little photoshoot while in the Keys yesterday wearing this awning stripe ruffle sleeve top at the Islamorada Seafood Festival! If you follow me on Snapchat and Instagram stories you’ll see we had the best day! The weather was perfect and the food was delicious! Twenty of the finest restaurants in the Keys offered small plates of their most popular seafood dishes. I tried stone crabs (I could literally eat a hundred of them, so yummy!), macadamian shrimp (another big time YUMMY!), ceviche, and crab cakes! We had such a great time that we’re looking forward to going again next year.
Now, let’s talk about this awning stripe ruffle sleeve top I recently received from my friends at SheIn! Made of cotton, it’s perfect for summer and meant to be oversized. I can actually wear this top as a swim cover-up. In these photos I have it tucked in with my favorite pair of denim shorts from J.Crew (love these too). I’m wearing a medium, however I was thinking of ordering it in a small, so that I don’t have to tuck it on some days. I’ve already worn this top like 5 times in the last week or so! Ha, can you tell I love it!
A few readers asked me about the durability of my Mar y Sol bags and I want to let you to know they’re super durable. I’ve had mine for almost three years and I put all kinds of things in it including my heavy camera. It goes with me to the Keys every time, too! I also take it on the boat and out to dinner.
