Good morning everyone! It’s been awhile since I’ve done a beach house look on my blog. Everything here is on my list for my home make-over that’s gonna happen this summer. I also have a huge wall in my living room that really could use a GORGEOUS fireplace. I’m praying that I find the perfect, master carpenter for the job. Beach House: Get The Look

Happy Friday everyone! As I promised, here is my Beach House: Get The Look post for this week. I’m excited that in the next few months I will be redecorating my home and will purchase a new dining table, dining chairs, console, slipcovered sofa, oversized natural fiber rug, floor lamps, and a pendant light for my dining room. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a loooong time! Every post, such as this one, is what I use for inspiration on the designs that I’m going to choose. Beach House: Get The Look

Good morning! I hope your weekend went well! My family and I went snorkeling in the Keys yesterday and saw two huge manta rays sting rays (update: I thought my husband said they were manta rays..oops). That was definitely the highlight of the trip and a beautiful sight to see. Spending time it the Keys this summer, inspired me to create this Keysy look that is totally laid back and care-free. The first image is a bungalow that you can actually rent at the Little Palm Island Resort & Spa located in the lower keys. There’s nothing prettier than lush, island landscaping and I could literally live there with only a hammock as my bed! I hope you enjoy this tropical, turquoise paradise design I created.   3. Loving your blog. We have a place in the Keys and have been going down for over 30 years and have NEVER seen a manta ray. I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love your style so I have to mention my favorite place in Key West – Besame Mucho – You probably already know it but just in case you must check it out next time you make it down to Key West. Thanks for the inspiration !!!

Cabo Beach House: Get The Look

Hello July 2013! I hope your weekend was a relaxing one. I hung out by my pool and just embraced being home. Speaking of home…I’m loving putting together these beach house looks! Last Monday, I shared this one with you and today I have a super chic Cabo San Lucas styled beach house that is making my heart sing! I know I’ve been on this Mexico kick lately, but actually I’ve been intrigued with this country’s style and beachy elegance since I was a little girl. I can honestly wear embroidered styles like this and that everyday of my life. It truly is a love of mine. I hope you enjoy today’s beach house look.   2. Ahhhhh-this beach house is gorgeous! I believe it is in Dorado on the corridor. We stayed at the Secrets Marquis next door and walked the beach by this one last spring (George Clooney's house is the one on the corner). There is such a beachy chic vibe and I love living the open air lifestyle in Mexico. Fabulous post!

Happy Monday! I’m excited to share a beach house look I’ve been working on all weekend. The colors I chose here are soft blues, mushroom, a touch of navy, pale turquoise and crisp white. This gorgeous house image is the most pinned on my Beach House Pinterest page, but I do not know the original source. If you happen to know it please let me know! I would love to see the inside and link the original designer. Until then, I can only imagine how beautiful the decor and architecture is inside.
