THREE THINGS TO DO FOR FATHER’S DAY

1| Take dad to a special event. Last year we bought tickets to our first Boston Red Sox game at Fenway and what a blast that was! My husband loves anything we can do as a family- hiking, swimming, boating or sitting by a fire and reminiscing about when our boys were young.

2| Surprise dad with a special treat Father’s Day morning. Last year, I served my hubby fresh fruit and his favorite croissants from the French Bakery. Of course, my boys were happy too! Plus, I poured him a hot cup of coffee. Little things to make him feel special and loved. 

3| Shop for something special your husband or dad could use. My husband enjoys listening to music when he’s in the backyard swimming or working out with weights, so I thought a portable Bose speaker would be a perfect gift. He could also use a new set of grill tools and cologne. The list can go on and on. because he really doesn’t shop for himself, which makes fun to surprise him on Father’s Day. Last year I bought him a small cooler he could take to our boys baseball games and filled it with a few things he needed- Ralph Lauren pajama shorts, athletic shorts and a couple of Nike Dri-FIT t-shirts.
