Have-to-Have Western Denim Shirt 3 Ways
Anyone one out there wearing denim shirts lately? I have been wearing my J.Crew Western Denim Shirt at least twice a week and love to pair it with shorts, skirts or pants. This western inspired shirt has a slim and tailored fit that makes any outfit look put together. When summer comes around, I’ll use it as a cover-up for beach dresses and swimsuits. The possibilities of matching this rugged wonder with any style bottom are endless. What do you like to wear yours with?

I too am in love with the J. Crew denim western shirt. I tried it on the other day and the fit is way off. First, I tried my usual size 8(I have broad shoulders), It fit very odd in the armpits and the chest-way too tight. While the 10 was big in my shoulders, still too tight in the chest. Very poor size quality. At $98.00 I'm sure there are better options out there!
There are definitely other options. I have four denim shirts from different stores and all of them have something special about them. Whether it's the style of the pocket or the color of the stitching. The J.Crew one happens to be my favorite and fits me very well, even after at least 25 washes. My second favorite to wear is the one I purchased at Marshall's for $16.99 (it may be a fit to get used to also…I usually like to wear form fitting tops, so wearing a boy shirt was a big step for me and not something I was used to wearing at all). Keep looking! I'm sure you can find one that fits you well. 🙂

I agree…you have to try several different ones. I have two that I love. Sorry to have missed getting together last week. We didn't have ANY free time in the evenings!! Hope the weather is warmer for you this week…it was COLD 🙁
