If You’ve Been in a Style Rut– Read This

It feels so good to get out of a style rut. Even after all these years of having a fashion blog, I still find myself falling into one from time to time and needing a little reset. Life gets busy, things pile up, and I forget to do the little things that help me feel like myself again—refreshing my hair, painting my nails, and getting dressed in something that feels pretty and put-together.

Over the past few months, I was also dealing with a difficult bout of eczema, which made everything feel a little harder. When you’re not feeling comfortable in your own skin, it can really affect how you show up and take care of yourself. Stress and anxiety definitely played a role too, and I’ve learned to give myself a lot more grace during those seasons.

Instead of being hard on myself, I made a simple list of small things I wanted to do—and slowly, it’s been so refreshing to check them off one by one. I’m finally starting to feel like I’m getting past it, and it feels really, really good. Fashion has always been one of the ways I reconnect with myself, and getting dressed again—playing with pretty pieces and putting together simple outfits—has helped me feel like me again.

So with that, I’m feeling inspired… thankful, refreshed, and excited to get dressed this spring. These are the kinds of outfits that make me feel awake, pulled together, and happy—even if it’s just for a quick trip to the grocery store. Sharing a few looks I’m especially excited to wear this season.

Blue Matching Vest and Pants Suit Outfit

As soon as I spotted this matching vest and pants set online, I knew it had to be in my wardrobe. It’s the perfect outfit for all your spring occasions—bridal showers, baby showers, or any special event you have coming up. The fit is true to size, and right now it’s on sale!

I paired it with these gorgeous woven wedge sandals from Target—they have memory foam, so they’re surprisingly comfortable for all-day wear. To complete the look, I added a raffia clutch (I’ve linked a similar style) that’s perfect for spring styling. Everything fits true to size and comes together so effortlessly for a polished, spring-ready look.

Weekend Collared Sweater Vest Look

As soon as I tried this super-soft sweater vest in the loveliest shade of pink, I knew it was going to be one of my favorite buys of the year. If you love soft pinks, this color is such a mood booster! It also has a classy, polished look that instantly makes me feel put-together—no matter what pants or jeans I pair it with.

I’m wearing it here with my go-to white slim wide jeans from J.Crew—they have just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable all day, and I highly recommend them. I paired the outfit with one of my new bags (now sold out), but I’ve linked a similar style from the same brand. To finish the look, I added these adorable woven sandals from Target—I’m honestly impressed with their sandals this season; they’re stylish and so comfortable.

High Neck Tank Top and Barrel Pants Look

I’ve always loved high-neck tanks—they’re just so flattering! But honestly, the main reason I ordered this one is the color—it’s such a pretty shade and an instant mood booster. While it’s a casual piece, it’s easy to dress up for lunch with friends or family, making it a spring wardrobe must-have.

For the pants, I’m wearing a pair of barrel pants from last year, but I’ve linked a similar style from the same brand that’s available in more colors. I paired the look with the cutest leather bag that fits so much, and the comfiest flip-flops I’ve been living in since they arrived last week. This outfit is effortless, stylish, and perfect for spring days!
