LOOKS I LOVE…
Easy pieces that stand out are always on my list of what to wear in the summer and one thing I love is a beautiful tropical print. If you read my post yesterday, Dreaming of the Beach, I featured a handful of new summer styles at J.Crew and my wishlist now is a mile long. Most of these pieces can be worn for years to come. The other day I spent hours reorganizing my closet and realized I had countless popover plaid shirts from J.Crew and vowed to myself that I don’t need to buy anymore for awhile. Well, that promise quickly went out the window, as soon as I laid my eyes on that cotton navy plaid popover above! Gotta have it! So…
I love these looks so much that I’m giving an explanation as to why…
1 | I tried this embroidered pom-pom top on and it gorgeous! Something I’ll have in my closet for years. I always save all of my J.Crew summer embroidered tops.
2 | This necklace is the perfect summer accessory. The colored treading really makes a plain white tank look great!
3 | Everyone can use a great pair of stand out earrings! These carved out droplet earrings would be perfect to wear to a summer or early fall wedding.
4 | What can I say? This Havana clutch goes with everything you’ll wear in the summer.
5 | This Michele Deco watch is still on my wishlist. Definitely an investment. But, I love my Michael Kors watch just as much!
6 | I tried this lace trim tank on and ohhh it’s so pretty! I’m going to wear it with the hibiscus floral skirt on my summer trip.
7 | This gauze tank dress cover-up comes in three colors and are easy to pack for the beach.
8 | Stylish Prada sunglasses that will take you from summer into fall.
9 | Love these updated gold Rio sandals! I wear them everyday and own them in gold and black.
10 | I tried on this hibiscus floral skirt yesterday and it fits perfect! Not too short and super comfortable. Taking this baby with my on my summer trip!
11 | I hear great reviews about this Headhunter heavy-duty sunscreen and would love to try it out while I’m running.
12 | Love these embroidered gauze shorts! I tried them on and plan on wearing them all summer long.
13 | I really do not need another pair of Nike Air Pegasus sneakers, except for these! LOVE THEM! Trust me they are going to sell out fast. So if you love them you should buy them ASAP.
14 | Totally love this plaid cotton popover! Adding it to my collection.
15 | This peach tweed skirt is the perfect transitional piece that will take you from late summer to fall. Here’s the peach tweed top that goes with it.
