out of control. Finding products that reduce the frizz have always been important to me, especially when I’m trying to maintain a hairstyle for a special occasion. To be honest learning to love my curly hair has been a journey. My hair has a huge personality and in my teens, I spent so much time trying to relax my hair and actually all that ever did was damage it. In recent years, I decided to enjoy the day without worrying about having wild, curly hair and today, I thank God for every frizzy strand. The new Dove Advanced Hair Series Quench Absolute for curly, coarse hair has worked like a dream for me. First, I wash my hair using the Quench Absolute Shampoo and Quench Absolute Conditioner. Second, I towel dry my hair and add a little of the Quench Absolute Creme Serum. Last, I blow out my hair with a large round brush and use a 2″ curling iron to make large smooth curls. My hair stays manageable throughout the day and I’m a happy girl. I also used the Quench Absolute Restoration Mask twice a week after shampooing and it helped hydrate and nourish my hair (something my hair desperately needed).

Ah, I am right here with you! I have wildly out of control, and inconsistent curly hair. There is frizz in many areas as well. That said, I am very blessed that with the help of a round brush and a good hair dryer, my hair smooths out pretty effortlessly in a short period of time! While I have never loved my curls, I have always been thankful for the fullness and body they give me when I blow out my hair. I am a pretty faithful user of Dove shampoos and conditioners, and am looking forward to testing out the Quench line! Thanks for introducing it to us and I will check out your Style List!!
Your hair looks so great! I love how the curls are so loose. I wish I could get mine to do that! But this line is amazing and definitely works for my tighter curls as well 🙂
