My Friend’s Beautiful Lake Home

I would love for all of you to see my friend’s beautiful lake home.  Kim and I met when our oldest boys were in kindergarten.  She was their roommom and later that year our boys played baseball on the same team.  Kim was a very busy wife and mother with four children and was always ready to help out in the classroom.  One fall day, she invited my son over for a play date and when I arrived at her home…..my jaw dropped! Not only was her home beautiful, but I was taken by how talented she was at decorating.  She had a elegant front porch with carved pumpkins spelling out each of her kids names, adorning the steps.  Her home just seemed so warm and inviting.  From that moment on we always had something to talk about; life, family and decorating.

Today, Kim still has a beautiful front porch and pumpkins adorning the steps for the fall, except now her house is situated on a beautiful lake in the middle of Florida. When, I asked her if she would send me a few photos (5-6) of her house so that I can brag about it on my blog, she gladly said yes.  Kim woke up early the next day took some shots and soon I received an email with 116 photos!  Her photography is outstanding and is another God given gift. Thanks Kim for taking the time. Your talent and treasures are inspiring.

Enjoy some of the lovely photos she sent me of the outside of her home.  Tomorrow, I will post some fun and inspiring pictures of how she decorated her sideboard for Halloween.
