SARASOTA DIARY PT. 2

Hi there! It’s Friday and today I’m sharing part two of my Sarasota diary of what I wore and some of the things we did. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Sarasota was a great place to unwind. Yes, there were times when we really had to come up with a plan for something to do other than the beach. And that’s when the kickball games began, daytime excursions, dessert parties and catching up. There were thirty of us in total and we had a blast together. See my Sarasota Diary Pt. 1.

The first outfit I’m sharing today is definitely one of my favorite summer buys for only $52. It’s the perfect little dress for a beach getaway.

Attending a Catholic Sunday mass is always something we do on vacation and this is the dress I wore that day. I’m so happy it’s back in stock in most sizes. I’m wearing a small.

Coquina beach was just down the road from where we stayed and I love that it has bathrooms and a restaurant which made it easy for us to stay there all day.

One of my favorite summer purchases was this white tie front dress. I wasn’t sure how it would look on, however when it arrived, I was thrilled in how cute it was! Since we rented a home in walking distance to St. Armand’s Circle I would like to share what we did near and around the home.

PLACES TO EAT IN SARASOTA

Columbia Restaurant located in St. Armand’s Circle – they’re famous for their white sangria.

Nancy’s Barbecue – out of this world smoked ribs and everything else is amazing as well.

Venezia Italian Restaurant – My italian husband and kids can’t go too many days without having pizza! Located in St. Armand’s Circle

Starbucks – located right in St. Armand’s Circle

Desserts & Treats – can be found throughout St. Armand’s Circle

BEACHES & THINGS TO DO

Lido Beach – located adjacent to St. Armand’s Circle

Coquina Beach – Located north of St. Armand’s Circle. There’s a restaurant and bathrooms on the beach.

Shopping in St. Armand’s Circle – many quaint little souvenir shops and brand shops such as Lily Pulitzer, and Tommy Bahama along with a few others.

Watch the Sunset – The gulf side of Florida has the best sunsets. We made sure to arrive at the beach at least a half hour before sunset.

Scenic Bike Rides – My husband insisted on bringing bikes to Sarasota and I’m so happy he did. My husband, dad, and the boys rode over the bridge and north to Longboat Key.

Here I am in my beach gear, with coffee in hand! Ahhhh vacation!
