These J.Crew Factory Pieces Were Made for Beach Town Strolling

When I packed for Nantucket this summer, I told myself I wanted to keep things simple—just the classics I knew I’d wear on repeat. And let me tell you, the J.Crew Factory pieces I brought were perfect for that easy, coastal look I love.
These are the kinds of essentials that make getting dressed feel like second nature. Lightweight, flattering, and timeless with a twist. Whether I was heading to the beach, riding bikes into town, or grabbing an afternoon coffee, these looks made me feel pulled together without even trying.

Short-Sleeve Crochet Cardigan Sweater
I packed this thinking I’d wear it to dinner, but ended up wearing it for lunch and shopping. It was the perfect layer for breezy, sunny day. The texture adds just enough detail to elevate even the most casual look. I went down a size in this so that it would be shorter.

Gauze Button-Up Shirt in White
If I had to pick one MVP piece from this trip, this would be it. I wore it over my swimsuit with drawstring shorts to bike to the beach and Sankaty Light. So breathable, so versatile—and available in a few colors (I love the light blue too!). Highly recommend getting this one is a few colors.
Drawstring Shorts in Chambray
I lived in these. Comfortable, cute, and perfect for warm days spent exploring the island. I loved pairing them with the gauze shirt or a tank for a pulled-together coastal look that was as comfy as it was cute.
