Tory Burch’s Amira Dress

February 7, 2013

My wishes came true in two colors! I’ve been wanting Tory Burch to make this Mexican inspired dress again! I missed out on it the first time and sent her an email asking her to consider bringing it back! Well, she listened! Yeah for us!
From the Tory Burch Website…
Our Amira Dress made a splash last spring when we posted a picture of Tory wearing it on the blog — and were flooded with requests to bring it back. Reissued straight from our archives, this sweet summer souvenir is made of whisper-light cotton voile with intricate floral embroidery reminiscent of traditional Mexican folk art designs. Scalloped stitching at the neck and sleeves set off this color-drenched style which shifts from sand to sidewalk with just a pair of sandals
Which color do you like best?
I love both colors and will need to order them right away because I know these will sell out fast!
Click here to see the Amira Embroidered Dress…
or here, here, here, here, here if your size sold out at Tory Burch.

They are sold out at Tory Burch! But, keep checking back early in the morning…you never know they may add one or two to the inventory.

I normally have definite opinions but honestly love them equally in both colors. Sorry!! Its a great dress, and so "me"…I could see it with jack rogers sandals, a gold cuff, a cute straw bag and hat. Very chic and looks really comfy!

I know Tina! Love the orange on Tory! I ending up getting the navy one just in time because they sold out at Tory Burch, so I added two more links to this post where they can be found still but not for long! XO

Love them as well. Have you seem them irl? I'm wondering if they are too sheer to wear just as a dress (rather than cover-up).

Hi Kris! Yes, it's slightly sheer. I added some links to this post where you can see that it is sheer.

I ended up ordering the XS and hoping I made the right decision. There is a size guide and I followed that. I didn't want it to fit too big.

This dress reminds me of a summer trip to Cancun! I'd go with the blue but both colors are amazing.

Me too! That's where I honeymooned and I fell in love with chic Mexican prints. That's why I just had to get this dress in honor of my 20th anniversary 🙂

Darling! I like the black one. I've got a warm weather vacation coming up and this would be perfect with black or gold sandals.
