WEEKEND OUTFITS

I hope you had a blessed Mother’s Day. Today I’m sharing two weekend outfits I wore this weekend for two events, a retirement  party and Mother’s Day. The retirement party outfit was part of a theme, where we were asked to wear pink. I was really happy that this Target hot pink dress worked out well for the occasion. It’s on sale right now for under $20 and available in many colors. It was easy to iron and held up pretty well without major wrinkles. It can easily be dressed up or casual, depending on the occasion. I’m wearing an XS, which was a tad tight on me on the top, but I made it work and felt pretty comfortable in it the whole afternoon.

I wore this J.Crew block print gauze dress is from their newest summer collection for Mother’s Day and it was the perfect dress for the occasion. It can easily be worn to the beach or to a fun luncheon. It’s really the perfect dress for summer and the block print is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend adding this dress to your summer wardrobe.

Here’s another photo of me wearing the J.Crew block print dress on Mother’s Day. I enjoyed getting my home ready for our family where we also celebrated a birthday and a college graduation. I decorated my bar cart with my new coastal candle and orchids nestled in my scalloped wicker orchid baskets.

Last Friday my new ‘coastal grandmother’ style straw bucket hat arrived in the mail. It’s so perfect for our summer trips and should pack easily. If you’re loving the coastal grandmother aesthetic, then this bucket hat is a must.
