Good morning! Imagine waking up and taking in the view of this beautiful South African beach house. I’ve been enamored with these breathtaking beach homes that have been featured in various magazines and online since my Dad started working in Africa a few years ago. One design element that seems to be ever present in chic African beach home design is a neutral palette. With a view like this one, who needs bold colors to take away from the pristine blue water as you entertain on the veranda.

I adore neutral colours in beach houses (or those by a seaside in general) – they definitely compliment the ubiquitous blue colour of the sea and sky and bright shades of the surrounding plants and flowers. These interiors are utterly beautiful!
