WHAT’S IN MY BEACH BAG

Since we’re savoring summer, I thought it would be fun to share what’s in my beach bag. A well stocked bag is key when heading to the beach and pool. I dreamed of designing beach bags at one time, so getting my bag ready for a fun day in the sun is a treat for me. I’m carrying a Mar y Sol bag that’s roomy and made to last and the first thing I put in my bag is sunscreen for my body, face, and lips. Then, I make sure to pack a pretty coverup. I ordered this sheer lace coverup last year and was happy to see that it’s back in all sizes, including plus sizes. Finally, I pack a wide brim hat, sunglasses, hair ties, and a cute beach towel. I live near the Beach and try to get there every weekend. I keep a packed bag on a hook by the back door and right after church on Sunday I’m out the door ready to go! We meet my brother and his family and spend a blissful morning. The only thing different in my bag is a bag for gathering shells😎

Love your coverups! There’s so much peace on the beach—and a beach bag, as you said, is a must! I never forget to include a book or magazines, plus my magnifier sunglasses, as well as a few nut and raisin snacks. I need a BIG beach bag!!! 😘
Hi Desiree. Dillards has several of the Mar y Sol beach bags on sale for $54 – $58. They are selling out fast. I purchased the last navy bag yesterday. They also have a nice Vera Bradley beach bag on sale. Only the coral color remains. I purchased the blue VB bag months ago at full price ugh! Have a great weekend.

I love the Serena&Lilly coral beach towels. They are such a pretty color. And your beach bag is so cute. I keep a bag ready to go at the lake to head out on the boat, but my inner beach girl wishes she could have a bag ready to at her a wave at the beach. Blessings!!!
Our town has a community pool and my two boys have been going there every day (when it hasn’t been thunderstorming, that is!) . I have a Scout beach bag that I leave packed for their sitter so she can bring them while we are at work. The bag always has clean towels, their pool goggles, a soft little beach ball for them to play catch with each other, sunscreen, our pool tags , their Swell water bottles and lots of snacks. I leave it right in their cubby in the garage and it’s always ready for them!
Great idea! I heard great thigs about those Scout bags and I love my Swell bottle as well! It’s amazing!
