SARASOTA DIARY PT. 1 - Beautifully Seaside

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a diary of my stay in Sarasota this summer. If you’re looking for a quiet vacation or little weekend getaway, this is the place to visit. We met up with some of our family members from New York and rented two homes. The home our family rented was in walking distance to St. Armands Circle and Lido Beach. St. Armands Circle is a pretty area with quaint shops, ice cream parlors, restaurants, and a Starbucks. So when it came to location, our home was in the perfect spot!

Today, I’m going to share what I wore while in Sarasota and tomorrow I’ll share more of what I wore, including what we did and a few places to eat.

I always make sure to take pictures of all the pretty flowers wherever I am and these were at St. Armand’s Circle.

The home next to the one we rented had the cutest little garden, which ended up being a backdrop for many of my outfit photos.

Here’s the entrance to Lido Beach near St. Armand’s Circle and the home we rented. I recommend getting there early for parking. Plus, it has great access to all the restaurants and shops on St. Armand’s Circle.

Having an beach umbrella is a must have for any beach. We picked up this cutie at the closest Walmart in Sarasota for under $10. I should have bought two of them for that price!

I was so happy to have picked up this striped beach blanket the day before we left. I know I’ll use it for many years. It’s super comfortable.

A few more things I packed for the beach were my new Tuckernuck off the shoulder cover-up, Havaiana flip flops that are so comfortable, and of course my Mar y Sol beach tote.
