Coastal Christmas Tree

November 15, 2012

Frolicsome Mermaid | Glitter Whale | Glitter Anchor | Jingle Star Ornament |  Beaded Peace Sign Ornament | Paper Ship Ornament | Crocheted Anchor Ornament | Glitter Mermaid Ornament
When I partnered with Gum Tree to do the grapefruit candle giveaway on Monday I was excited to see these adorable whimsical ornaments on their website.  I have come across many coastal ornaments in the past, but I have yet to see any as cute as these! The little frolicking mermaid is my favorite!

Coastal Tree Decorating Tip
1| Add white lights to the tree depending upon the height of your tree. For example, I usually buy an 8 foot tree and I use 250-400 mini lights.
Click here to use a Christmas Tree Light Calculator.
2| Add many ornaments, enough to fill in almost every square inch of your tree.  This can get costly, but you can add new ornaments to your collection each year.
Click here to see my 2010 Christmas tree. I’ll have to find pictures of last year’s tree and add them here.
Note: I’ve added more more ornaments since then with the great sales the day after Christmas!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the unique ornaments.
They seem so cozy and rustic and would really transform any tree. I might have to pick up a few now!

Thanks so much for the gorgeous inspiration 🙂
