Hi, I am loving this gig of being a contributor to one of my most favorite blogs. Visiting here is kind of like going to a “happy place” where its all about seaside living, pretty frocks, fresh tasty food and good times! So when Desiree asked me to write about my dream beach house…..I was all over it like butter on lobster, like marshmallows on smores, guacamole on chips, well you get it…….. two seconds flat!!
For a long time now I have dreamt of having my own beach house, we have rented them, been houseguests in them and toyed with buying one but it never happened……. YET! I LOVE the beach house lifestyle and am an avid beach lover and goer, always have been. Anyone who knows me well knows nothing makes me happier than sitting on a beach (undisturbed) book in hand, a few drinks at the ready….ahhhh I am more relaxed just thinking of it! So it was a thrill to put together my virtual beach house, and I am so happy to have the chance to invite you “over” for a little visit……..
So ready to see it?
And it’s really causal here, bare feet welcome. I tend to lounge in clothes like these pretty much morning, noon and night…..
Forgot your sandals? No worries, I always have a bucket filled with these….
And a freshly laundered stack of these…..
So…ready to see my beach house? It’s the one over there, peeking out of the dunes!
Step inside……..
Is there anything better than being sunkissed, taking a hot shower, slipping into your cool cotton cozy pj’s, opening up the window to the roar of the ocean then meeting me on the deck for a late night drink and catching up? See you there at 8! Fun, fun fun…..we all know life is better at the beach!
Thanks Desiree for allowing me to fulfill my beach house dreams (at least virtually), next best thing to actually getting one! And to everyone else for stopping in and visiting me…hope you had fun!
This dream “beach house” of yours literally took my breath away!

Thanks again….wanted to pop in before I head out for the day, be back later! Enjoy your day….
Gorgeous, gorgeous and more gorgeous. I think I could live on the deck alone! xo

Wow, such a dreamy post Tina! The beach breeze.. I can feel it right through my computer:) I'm anxious to get down south to get some beach-time in. Relaxing at the beach is a great way to recover from the daily chaos. Well done ladies!
Please add me to the guest list — what a perfectly beautiful beach house this would make! Love it all!
Love everything about your beach style, Tina, and would love an invitation any time!

Love love love it from the clothes to the rooms to meeting you on the deck for s'mores and a drink of wine- only to wake up to do it all again!! You have me dreaming Tina!!
Loved this so much ๐
just found you via pinterest – loooooove everything you post! been scouring thru the pages for minutes now ๐
What a great post and the beach house is to die for! I love every inch, would love to know who makes the clothes shown? I want that dress and that tunic. I love the narration as well, and you put me in a beach house frame of mind. Growing up we owned a beautiful home on the Maryland shore so I have fond memories growing up of summers spent at the beach, there is nothing like it. Great job.
Dreams….good thing we have them. I LOVE every image. I want a beach house too! One where we can have family and friends stay all the time. A place where it's ok to have sandy feet….and sit around with a cocktail. A place where the kids swim and play all day. A place where time stands still. Thanks for the images!
I have always wanted a beach house too. This house is the perfect beachhouse, love the living room and would happily take either guest room. That kitchen is amazing. Love that bike riding and swimming is all the activity we will do- sounds great to me. I would love to be a guest of Tina's at her beach house or her very enchanted real house!
I love the monogrammed soaps and the green low ball glasses! Great giveaway! And Fabulous Dream Beach House!

Tina, you just know how to conjure the most amazing dreams and this beach house is no exception. I'm dreaming of having a beautiful beach house like this, and your ideas and inspiration are spot on. Just magnificent. Wish it was real!
Who is the designer of the clothing?
the porch swing is my favorite detail, tina. i'll deliver mojitos to you all day long if you invite me to this beach haven. also i want to borrow that sweatah. it's fabulous.

Your beach house is perfect, Tina, and I'm so pleased to see you've got space for my kids as well! I'm packing my bags. xx Sharon
I actually live in a lovely little beach town but I'm a couple blocks and a couple million dollars short of this spectacular dream-come-true. I love my beach town though, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. And the great thing about that charming wicker cake spade is it would work just as well in my simple cottage as it would in a multi-million dollar mansion. Great give-away!
This is one fabulous beach house… I could do a week or two there.. no problem… ๐ xv
I would be happy to spend time in the virtual beach house waking up to the glorious views and the outdoor dining area and the hall are both stunning.
