FIVE THINGS TO DO THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

The Christmas spirit is being stirred up here and I’m excited to share five things to help bring holiday cheer alive in your home this season. First up is baking cookies, everyone loves holiday cookies and fun sugar cut-outs are a great choice. You can even bake with the kids or invite some friends over to help you decorate them. 

One of my best friends bakes a ton of cookies and delivers an assortment to her close friends every year! You better believe my whole family looks forward to her cookies every Christmas season. 

This year, I headed over to Williams Sonoma to pick up two new cookie molds- a Christmas tree and snowman. I like using the copper molds, because they hold up better over the years. 

You can even freeze your freshly baked cookies- just make sure you let them thaw out before you serve them to your holiday guests.

TWO The second thing to do this holiday season is stock up on fair isle sweaters and now is the perfect time to do so, because they’re all on sale at J.Crew. You can see my new stash above. I’m such a fair isle girl at heart.

THREE Organize your scarf collection and add a few new beauties to the bunch. 

Recently, I sold some scarves to a few of my friends in order to help raise money for a charity close to my heart called, The Glory House of Miami. In doing so, I made room for more scarves, including these darling, tartan plaid pom pom scarves from J.Crew. 

FOUR Add a little something unexpected to your winter wardrobe, like these Hunter boots for example. My new pair just arrived and I couldn’t be more excited about how cute they are and I never thought I would want a pair of green boots. So my collection of Hunter boots grew from one glossy black pair I bought last year, to a collection of four that includes, matte red, matte green and matte black. I think I’m pretty much set for Hunter boots. A few things you should know about them- they’re comfortable, they’ll last a long time and will never go out of style.
