November To-Do List Update! I’ve been working on my list and it’s been great to accomplish little things here and there that bring me joy! Let me know what’s on your list.
Here’s a list of ten things I would love to do in November!
- Work on my Christmas shopping list!
- Bake a delicious pumpkin dessert! This is a carry-over from October and I’m baking a pie! Say a prayer for me! LOL!
- Record as many Christmas Hallmark Channel movies as possible and watch at least two of them a week. These movies make me so happy!
- Roast marshmallows with the family. This is a carry-over from October. We’ll be making s’mores on Thanksgiving for the kids!
- Read 30 Days of Marriage Prayers eBook by Tony Evans with my husband. Love this!
- Order a fun Christmas sweater, or three! Love this, this, and this!
Finalize my Thanksgiving plans and what I’m going to cook and bake.Done.- Start my Christmas shopping and hopefully get most of it done this month! (This might be a stretch!)
- Keep exercising! (I just bought these new Saucony running shoes in hopes to get back to running.)
- Pray more each day! (I’ve been dedicating more time to praying each day, and it makes a huge difference in feeling joy!)

My favorite holiday tradition is listening to Christmas music while me and my youngest nephew put up the Christmas tree, he hates my singing but you can’t put up the tree without music, lol!

My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the house and putting up the tree with my family while drinking hot chocolate and watching a christmas movie. That really marks the start of the holiday season for me !

My favorite tradition is that when we were growing up we went to late mass on Christmas Eve and then we would come home and make a fresh warm batch of cookies for Santa. As we got older we continued doing so as it was a way for us to learn what was going on in each others lives. Now my 6 siblings and I have brought this tradition into our own families. It is a way of reconnecting when everything is so hectic.

My favorite Christmas tradition is eating my Dad’s indulgent french toast on Christmas morning. It’s one of the few times of the year that he cooks and it’s one of our favorite meals. Thanks for your work and the giveaway!

I love taking the kids to see Santa! We always think they know what they are going to tell him and then they say something completely random, which sends us scrambling to find that gift. It’s hilarious!
Our family goes caroling on Christmas Eve!
When my children were little I started gifting our family their Christmas pajamas, a new game, holiday puzzle and gingerbread house over the Thanksgiving weekend. We’ve continued the tradition for many years and it has been a great way to head into the holiday season promoting lots of cozy family time in our pjs. Thank you so much for the effort you put into your blog. I look forward to reading it every morning with my coffee!
I love decorating our tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving. While decorating, we talk about the meaning behind each ornament. Each ornament has a special meaning, whether it was purchased on a family vacation, a gift from a special friend or family member or represents something about a family member. We have so much fun talking about each ornament and the meaning behind it.
My favorite tradition is having a quiet exchange of gifts with my husband at home by our tree and then spending the rest of the day with family!
Making sugar cookies with my mum! We eat half the dough before it goes in the oven, and it’s always so much fun.
On Christmas morning we have desert for breakfast.
One of my favorite traditions is to bake Xmas sugar cookies and to decorate them while listening to Xmas music and drinking hot coco with the ladies in the family!!

My favorite tradition is having my kids put up the Christmas tree and decorations while listenting to Christmas music. Now that my kids are 15 and 12 though I am finding they are not as eager to help. I wish I could have those yrs back when they were small and so eager to help mom!
