Happy New Year’s Eve friends and family! Today, is all about thanking you, my readers for all the support you’ve given Beautifully Seaside this year. My heart is full, thinking about the love you send my way. Whether it be by leaving a comment, sending me an email, or commenting on my various social channels, it’s been a pleasure to create content for you. For the most part, I have only received kind thoughts from my readers and that reminds me of this scripture…

Which brings me to share what’s been in my heart for a very long time and that is to be more open with my readers and share with you the love of Christ that I cling to every day of my life. This year, has been a special one to my husband and I, because it’s the anniversary of our son Benjamin that went to live with the Lord, 20 years ago on November 1st, 1996. As much as I love my blog and everything about it, nothing can compare to the peace that God gave us 20 years ago. I feel that many of you have become dear friends through my blog and I want you to know more about me and the beautiful things the Lord has done in my life.
My blog is definitely a gift from above, and as much as I dreamed about having my very on website 20 years ago, I never thought this dream would come true. That is why I will be sharing more of my heart with you in the new year. I want you to know that God has a special purpose and plan for your life and wants to bless you abundantly. All you have to do is put your trust in Him.
To wrap up this year on Beautifully Seaside, I thought it would be fun to go down memory lane and share eleven of my favorite outfits I featured this year. Desiree, you are beautiful inside and out. While you may not have shared as openly in the past about your faith, I can tell you that it was “felt” regardless. For when you have Christ in your life, your outward reflection that others see is just “different”. I know you understand. I am sorry to hear of the loss of a precious son so many years ago.
