Happy Friday everyone! I woke up excited today about ‘My Everyday Makeup post’, however my server was down and I wasn’t able to login. So I decided to work on my Pinterest page for my readers instead! Visit my Pinterest page and follow along to see what’s been inspiring me!
It’s been awhile since I shared what’s in my makeup bag and today I’m featuring my everyday makeup. Each day before I walk out of the door, I make sure to apply foundation, pressed powder, bronzer, eye shadow, blush, and lipstick. I find that I skip wearing mascara during the week. I guess it’s a time issue for me, since I’m usually working first thing in the morning, then have to run out the door to teach. That’s pretty much the only reason mascara is on the back burner most of the time for me. Enjoy my everyday makeup favorites below!
I always wear foundation and Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide Foundation has been a go-to ever since I collaborated with them two years ago. It literally goes on smooth and looks refreshing. I would highly recommend you trying it!
Lancome’s Dual Finish Powder is a favorite that I’ve been using for years. It covers uneven tones in my skin and leaves a nice finish.
The Bobbi Brown bronzing powder is amazing and it works perfectly to even out facial tone with a tanned body. I may have mentioned a long time ago, that I do not get sun on my face. Before I turned 30, someone told me to never get sun on my face after 30, so I took that advice and have tried to refrain from tanning my face and neck.
The Bobbi Brown Eye and Cheek Palette is perfect to wear in the day for a relax look and at night. I love that it includes a pretty cheek color. I think the perfect shade of pink on the cheeks adds a pretty summer dewy look.
My go-to, every lipstick is from Chanel in the shade Etonannate. I’ve been wearing this shade for over a year now and in fact, this is my second purchase. It’s a coral hue with a hint of pink and I think it looks great with my skin color. Sometimes I layer it over a darker shade to accentuate a dewy look.
One thing’s for sure! I love my new Bobbi Brown ‘Smokey Eye’ Mascara! It adds the perfect amount of drama to my lashes and I was pleasantly pleased with the results. You can shop the mascara here and let me know what you think!
