Good morning sweet friends! Thank you for all your prayers over that last week and a half. We are back to normal here with power and wifi. Thank you Lord. And now my prayers are with the islands that are in the path of Hurricane Maria. I went to a Bible study yesterday morning and we prayed that it would fall apart. Oh Jesus we trust in you. I have a highschool friend that lives in Puerto Rico, please pray for her and everyone else on those islands. Thank you so much for your prayers! I’m so blessed to have readers that are such powerful prayer warriors!
It’s a blessing to get back to a normal schedule, so taking outfit photos the last two days has been quite fun, thanks to my husband. Today’s look features my new leopard print sweatshirt that I absolutely love. I ordered it in a medium, because I wanted it to be roomy on cool days this fall. I’m even thinking that a large would have worked as well. I tucked in the front a little, but you can definitely wear it untucked, which I will with sweatpants.
I bought this leather crossbody bag last year from J.Crew and you’ll be happy to know that they have a similar bag available this year and it comes in a ton of colors. Shop the new bag design here.
These velvet slingback flats are also from J.Crew and they’re the perfect fall shoe (also available here). I plan on styling them with more outfits this fall. For size reference, I went up a half size, because my normal size was a little tight.
The girlfriend jeans I’m wearing are from Banana Republic. I think they’re a great jean to wear with casual tops, hence the sweatshirt. They fit true to size and you can also wear the hem uncuffed.
