Hi everyone! It’s super late here in Italy and I really should be sleeping right now, but I wanted to check in and wish all of you a blessed happy first day of spring from Italy! My first day of spring was spent in Assisi, Italy where we had snow flurries upon arrival! Italy is such a special place and you can believe that I’m looking forward to coming back soon. The people are so kind and I love every city we’ve visited so far. As soon as I return home from this trip, I’ll start sharing dedicated posts featuring all the details of my trip. I took a ton of pictures and will include them in the posts as well. I feel like I’ve learned so much already on traveling to Italy.
The photo below was taken at a beautiful restaurant this evening in Rome, where we enjoyed fun musical entertainment by four super talented opera singers. We laughed so much throughout the show! Then we went for an evening ride through Rome and got to enjoy learning more about this incredible city.
Before I go, I wanted to mention that I’ve had to layer up while in Italy, because the temps have been lower than we all expected. So, I’m sharing my favorite cape scarf that always comes in handy in cool weather. I also wore it when we arrived in Venice, which you can see here. The best thing about this cape is that it’s reversible.
