SUMMER FRIDAY WISHLIST

Happy Friday friends! I have a new series on the blog called, Summer Friday Wishlist, and in these posts I’m sharing what’s on my wishlist. And there’s good news! So let’s begin with Amal Clooney’s beautifully marigold dress she wore to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Royal Wedding last weekend. The color looked amazing on her! I thought the color was pretty, but I never wear yellow. Then, I walked into Ann Taylor to do some ‘blog research’ and saw this marigold ruffle wrap dress and knew I had to try it on. Wow is all I can say! No wonder Amal looked so happy in that dress! This color really does something in the happiness department! You feel like a ray of sunshine in this dress, so I decided to go home and order it in my size. In the photo I’m wearing a size 4, however I feel like it was a little too big, so I’m going with the size 2. Also at Ann Taylor I found this adorable floral applique halter dress. I thought it would be great to have handy (especially since it’s 40% off) this summer for parties, graduations, vacation. This LOFT striped tee was on my wishlist and I ordered it in a size small. I’m wearing an XS in this photo. Additionally, I wanted to share my LOFT wishlist with you today as well! This hot pink jumpsuit is so pretty in person! The color is GORGEOUS and I think it’s about time I added this color to my wardrobe again. I’m wearing a size 4 here and it’s a little tight around the mid-section, so I ordered it in a size 6. I have an event this summer that this jumpsuit would be perfect to wear to. Okay girls. This is the deal. I didn’t order this dress when I first featured it on the blog. And. I. Should. Have. Because, now I want to wear it to my son’s graduation and both colors are sold out. Bummer. Good news! J.Crew will at some point restock this dress in both colors and I plan on grabbing one of each as soon as they do!  I love the lace up detail and the back is so pretty! So everyone knows my affection for J.Crew and it’s so awesome that they have a 40% off sale on brand new summer styles. In the photo above I’m wearing their striped linen jumpsuit with tie last year while visiting the Watercolor Inn on 30A. Well, it was so popular last year, they decided to bring it back this year and add another color called, caramel ivory. I’ve worn it at least a half a dozen times to different events. It’s one of those peices you can count on when you want a dressed up casual look. I’m wearing a size 4 with this strapless bra.
