Good morning friends and family! Today is my 25th Wedding Anniversary to the love of my life! Yay! I don’t even feel old enough to be married for so long. Ha ha! It seems like yesterday we were honeymooning in Cancun at 22 and 23 years old. Feeling like kids and looking like it for sure. We have fun plans to celebrate our anniversary this summer, so I’ll do a special post on our adventures later on. However, I wanted to talk about one thing I’ve struggled with throughout my marriage that my husband always tried to help me out in and that’s my skin. So, what’s the key to keeping my skin looking great after 25 years of marriage?
Here’s my story… I used to pick my skin so much for no reason. Ugh. It looked horrible. And it wasn’t from breaking out. It was a bad habit caused by underlying stress/anxiety. I felt so uncomfortable without makeup and would try all these products to heal my skin, but they never worked. One day I looked in the mirror and I felt like I looked like a monster. That’s when I knew I had to stop picking my face and with the help of the Lord, I was able to stop.
