SUMMER INSPIRED COFFEE WITH DESI

Hello summer and sweet friends! Oh how I missed you! It’s officially the summer season. I hope it’s been off to a great start for you. My husband and I returned home from a relaxing trip to Charleston. I love being on vacation and know that it’s a blessing to get away. Being able to unplug for a few days is the best. My husband and I enjoyed sleeping in and waking up to the fragrant smell of fresh brewed coffee each morning. As a result, I was reminded that it’s been a while since my last Coffee Talk with Desi. Many of you enjoy these posts, so I will be posting a Coffee Talk with Desi every Saturday for the rest of the summer. For today’s summer inspired Coffee Talk with Desi, I thought of five things I’ve been loving lately. Things my friends (that’s you) would want to know about. Lake Pajamas

Have you ever heard of LAKE Pajamas? I’m fairly new to this brand and was thrilled to learn their first brick and mortar store was located in Charleston. LAKE is located right on King Street- a fun shopping destination in historic downtown Charleston. Before I arrived in Charleston, I checked out their pajamas online and made a list of what I wanted to purchase. I tried on two pajamas and immediately fell in love with how extremely soft they felt. I purchased the Bloom Days Short Set and Nantucket Day Dress. Both of these pajamas have pockets and pretty striped ties at the shoulders. I also wanted to purchase the Taffy Midi Dress, however it wasn’t available in the store yet, so I ordered it online this morning. I’m officially all set, as far as summer pajamas go, plus I can pack them for my cruise. If you’re looking for soft, pretty pajamas, make sure to check out LAKE pajamas. I highly recommend them as gifts for all the ladies as well.

Summer Beach Totes

If you follow me on Instastories you may have seen that Mark & Graham sent me four GORGEOUS bags for summer. I mean they are gorgeous! I feel blessed to partner with Mark & Graham for over three years now. I’ve always been a huge fan of their high quality products and when they reached out to me a few years ago I was over the moon- happy, happy, happy. They even published my photos in one of their vacation lookbooks, which was a moment to remember! Anyway, long story short. We have a friendship that I hold dear to my heart and look forward to styling the gorgeous bags they sent me. Running Shorts

I’m still living the Faster Way to Fat Loss lifestyle and look forward to running/jogging this summer, so I’ve been on the lookout for running shorts. I found some that have great reviews at Athleta. Five star reviews, as a matter of fact. Over 500 of them! These mesh style running shorts are available in many colors. I’m planning on ordering them in two colors- violet blush and bolero orange. I also love their Speedlight Tee in simply lilac and white. It’s been a while since I ordered new workout clothes, so these are really fun purchases for me since I lost 21 pounds this year. Thank goodness I’ve been able to continue with this new lifestyle of healthy eating and intermittent fasting. Home Inspiration

Staying at 86 Cannon while visiting Charleston was like a feast to the design senses. I. Loved. Everything. Now, I’m dreaming of re-creating some of the gorgeous design elements they have in that precious luxury inn, I called home for a few nights. I linked similar kitchen accessories they had in their sweet cafe and a set of the most luxurious bed linens. I slept like a baby in their king sized bed, because of these sheets that are fit for a queen. They’re literally the softest sheets on the planet! The sheets are pricey, however I thought you would be interested in learning more about them. I’m working on a full recap of my time at 86 Cannon, which will go live on Monday morning. I have a ton of photos to share with you that I think you will enjoy! Here’s a little peek of the lovely cafe I’m in love with!

Summer Dresses

Now that I’m back from my first summer getaway, I’ve been searching online for new dresses to shoot and found some that are so dreamy. I mean really dreamy! These dresses are perfect for a special trip, for example a honeymoon or anniversary. You can also wear them on a fun girl’s getaway with your friends. All of the dresses have special designs that make them extra special. Three of them have beautiful embroidery that are just lovely. These dresses were worth noting today in case you’re in search of special dress for an upcoming trip. I’d love to know what you think about them! Which one of these dresses is your favorite?
