Good morning friends! Can you believe it’s the last day of 2019? I love looking back and revisiting all the beautiful things that happened along the way. Today, I’m going to share some of my reader favorites from this year that happen to be my favorites as well. Thank you so much for your support and kind thoughts towards me. It means so much to my family and I! I hope you enjoy this little visit through Beautifully Seaside’s 2019 memory lane. It was a beautiful and blessed year! I hope you enjoy these 10 Favorite Things of 2019 that are listed in no particular order.
NANTUCKET
My very first trip to Nantucket with Shop Nantucket was a dream come true for me. I’ve always talked about visiting Nantucket and never dreamed a beautiful company would be hosting my stay. Many of my readers loved following my stories about this trip and look forward to visiting there one day. My husband has been stopped more than once in the grocery store by our friends saying they would love to go to Nantucket after hearing about our Nantucket trip. Trust me when I say, you will love it there! The food, the ambience, the shopping, everything was just as I imagined, but way better. Ha ha! We stayed in the Lily Pulitzer Garden Cottage at the White Elephant Nantucket Resort. It’s a luxury resort located steps from the best shops, dining, and more. My husband and I are planning on going back soon!

NEWBURYPORT
After my husband and I left Nantucket we visited Newburyport, MA and stayed the night in a houseboat. It was such a fun experience! We also got to eat at the best restaurants in town and shop some of the cutest stores just steps away from the houseboat. We met the sweetest people there as well! I would highly recommend planning a stay at Houseboats of Newburyport. This is an ideal getaway and the view is lovely!

CHARLESTON
Visiting Charleston for the first time was so much fun! We stayed at 86 Cannon, which is a popular stay for many couples. It’s top notch my friends! My husband and I loved sitting on the beach at Sullivan’s Island and walking around downtown. It’s a beautiful getaway that you should definitely add to your places to visit in 2020.

PUERTO RICO
Last summer our family hopped on a cruise and one of the stops was Puerto Rico! I was so happy that my family got to visit Puerto Rico and eat some of the food there. We walked around Old San Juan, hiked around the fort (got lost), then finally enjoyed a nice cool treat of frozen ice in front of the fort. Thankfully, we had enough time to have a delicious Puerto Rican lunch before heading back to the boat. Fun day!
FLORIDA GETAWAYS WITH MY HUSBAND
My husband and I enjoyed lots of fun side trips in the state of Florida throughout the year! We visited Naples, St. Augustine, Gainesville, and the Keys, including Key West. I’m so happy we took advantage of the beautiful weather we have most of the year in Florida to go on these shorts trips for the day or weekend. We hope to do the same in 2020 as well!
BOSTON
I flew back to Boston in the fall for my annual trip to, Days of Glory (a Christian Conference). Once again, it was a beautiful getaway and I was so happy that many of my best friends and ministry sisters were there! We had the best time and of course grew in faith! For this trip, I packed lots of cozy styles from J.Crew and many of you enjoyed what I packed. Everything I wore on this trip ended up being top sellers on my blog and I’m so happy that many of you love J.Crew as much as I do!

WORKING WITH SERENA & LILY TO REFRESH MY HOME
One of the highlights of 2019 was getting to collaborate on multiple projects with Serena & Lily. I’ve been a huge fan of Serena & Lily for many years and this year it has been so much fun getting to add some new pieces to my home. And I have to say I am hooked. I love everything Serena & Lily ! My wish list is a mile long and I plan on making more updates to my home before I turn 50 in one year. Ha ha! I love that my living room is finally coming together with the addition of my new South Seas coffee table. I also ordered these Shore dining chairs that I’m currently using in my living room until I order a dining room table. They’re so comfortable and stylish.
Serena & Lily offers a fresh approach to design thatâs casual, coastal, relaxed, and refined. Youâll find that each piece is livable and welcoming, which I believe helps to make a house feel like home. That’s why I’m looking forward to refreshing my home with more pieces from Serena & Lily that my family can enjoy. Some of the items on my wish list include; two of these shelves in natural, this side table in fog, this end table in natural, this mirror for my guest bathroom, and this pendant light for my dining room.
As I just mentioned, I love my South Seas coffee table and styling it has been a treat! I have a collection of shells from my travels that I love to use when styling this coffee table. I think they look great with pretty orchid blooms I picked up from the grocery store this weekend. Serena & Lily just launched 150 new arrivals that you must check out, including new decor pieces and furniture to freshen up your home this season.
MAINTAINING MY FAT LOSS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
Signing up with FASTer Way to Fat Loss in the beginning of the year was the best thing I did for my health in 2019. In 2020, I plan on working harder on getting fit and lean, by incorporating more time using weights and creating fun recipes I can eat while living the FASTer Way lifestyle. Stay tuned for more FASTer Way in 2020 and a big thank you to all the readers who registered with FASTer Way by using my link! You are incredible and I love hearing your successes with FASTer Way! CELEBRATING MY OLDEST SON’S COLLEGE GRADUATION
Celebrating my oldest son’s graduation this year was the icing on the cake! He graduated with a biology degree, just like my husband. I’m so happy for him and pray for a bright and blessed future! I will always remember how beautiful this day was having my first son graduate with a degree he set his heart on. Congratulations!
