By now everyone in the world is zooming with work, family, and friends. I want to continue to look professional while in my Zoom meetings, so each work from home day I pick out a pretty top to wear. Zooming while we work from home is such a beautiful way to stay in touch. Some days I have up to five Zoom meetings. At first it was a little overwhelming, but now I’m getting the hang of it. I even learned how to make break out rooms for my little third grade students. I love having my daily Zoom meeting with my students. Honestly when I’m in the meeting with them, I totally forget that I’m living in a pandemic. I just focus on their precious faces and feel the joy of the Lord. They don’t realize how much joy I get from spending that short amount of time catching up and hearing their sweet voices. After our last two sessions ended I got teary eyed thinking of what a blessing it is to be a teacher in this critical moment in time.
