Celebrating New Year’s Eve in the Keys can be so much fun. This is not the first time I’ve celebrated New Year’s Eve there, however it was one of the loveliest evenings ever. My husband and I planned this last minute and we ended up having the best time. I dressed up (Keys style) in my new $14.99 J.Crew dress that was on sale and arrived NYE morning. Then, I added my favorite raffia earrings, sandals, and off we went. We met two family members at Snooks Bayside Grill, which is an outdoor restaurant located on the gulf side of Key Largo. The atmosphere was perfect with a cool breeze, lighted torches, and a lovely firepit.
CELEBRATING NEW YEAR’S EVE IN THE KEYS
I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and always order this hazelnut crusted chicken dish, because it’s so good. My husband had a seafood pasta dish, which he enjoyed. After dinner we sat by the firepit and took in the view. I could have sat there all night, however we wanted to drive home in time to see the times square ball drop.
