I have a new ‘Coastal Grandmother’ Looks I Love today. This community enjoyed my first Coastal Grandmother post, therefore it was fitting to create another. In case you are new here, here’s a brief description of what it means to be a ‘coastal grandmother’.

It was coined by a TikTok influencer, who says you don’t have to be a grandmother to be a ‘coastal grandmother’- “If you love Nancy Meyers movies, coastal vibes, recipes and cooking, Ina Garten, interiors and more, there is a good chance you might be a ‘coastal grandmother.’”

For example, here are some ways you can incorporate the ‘coastal grandmother’ aesthetic in your home. Most importantly, you will need fresh hydrangeas in a vase. Hydrangeas are definitely a staple of living the ‘coastal grandmother’ lifestyle. They’re beautiful and add so much joy to any room. A set of floral printed pillows will add an elevated coastal look to your living room. My favorite scented coastal candle is perfect for the entryway of your home. This beautiful woven rattan tray can be used to serve coffee when company comes over or to display seashells and beach pebbles.

To create a perfect ‘coastal grandmother’ look, you will definitely want to add a bucket hat to your wardrobe. It’s the perfect accessory for long walks on the beach. I’m going to take it with me on every vacation I have planned this summer. For clothing items, a loose fitting gauze shirt and white linen pants are perfect to wear throughout the day.
