Hi friends! I hope you’re having a great week. I just got back from a quick road trip to visit my dad who recently had surgery. I’m thankful he’s healing well. Then, I drove further north to visit my son and enjoyed a nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. He’s always such a great host! I’m back home now and wanted to share holiday themed books to read this month. I read all three of these books about two years ago and loved them. I thought you may enjoy them as well!
HOLIDAY THEMED BOOKS TO READ THIS MONTH
The Twelve Dates of Christmas
This was a really fun book to read! A 34 year old Kate joins a dating agency after being encouraged to do so by her best friend. This dating agency promises to help singles find love before the holidays offering twelve dates with twelve different men. Hence, The Twelve Dates of Christmas title (also here). Some dates are absolutely disastrous and some, well- you’ll have to read it for yourself. It’s a fun read!
One Day in December
I loved, One Day in December (also here)! It was one of Reece Witherspoon’s Book Club picks and it’s a good one! It’s about a girl who sees a boy from afar and she feels like it’s love at first sight. She spends a year trying to find him again and then the story gets really good. I thought it was thoroughly entertaining and a fun read.
The Royal Holiday
The Royal Holiday (also here) is by New York Times Best Selling Author, Jasmine Guillory and I loved this book. I actually started reading it over a year ago and never finished. I pretty much had to start all over again and really enjoyed it. It’s about a woman who gets to travel to England with her daughter who is going to style a royal family member for the Christmas season. She meets the personal assistant to the Queen and they get to know each other. It’s a beautiful romantic story that I loved.
