During our vacation in Nantucket the weather was mostly gray, so when the sun came out we were happy to head to the beach! We could spend hours sitting on the beach chairs under an umbrella, relaxing and watching the seals swim by. The seals are actually huge! I love how they pop their heads up out of the water to check us out. People ask me if I swim in the ocean in Nantucket and the answer is no. Ha ha! I just love sitting on the beach while listening to the sound of the waves. Today, I’m sharing some beach day outfits in Nantucket that I wore, including this Freya hat.
This is no ordinary Panama hat. It’s handmade in Ecuador using a 3,000 year old tradition by women who are grandmothers, mothers, and daughters. And these beautiful hats feature SPF 50+ to protect you from the sun’s harmful rays which is great! ☀️ I loved wearing it and thought it was perfect for this Nantucket trip.

I also loved this Freya asymmetrical canvas bucket hat. It’s longer on one side which is great for more sun protection. And it’s so easy to fold and pack in your suitcase. The one-piece swimsuit has been a long time favorite of mine and gets restocked every year since it’s so popular and always in style. I wore comfortable stripe shorts as a cover up and loved the nautical vibe of the blue and white stripes.
