Happy Monday! You may want to grab a cup of coffee, because this is a long post! I have so many EXCITING things to share today, including this week’s, 5 Things I’m Loving 10.16.23!
My Weekend Recap
I hope you had a great weekend! I went on a little road trip to celebrate the Grand Opening of my brother’s new coffee shop called, Summer Moon, in Fort Meyers. We had such a great time celebrating the Friends & Family Night on Thursday, then the soft opening on Friday. I wasn’t able to stay for the big Grand Opening on Saturday, but I heard there was a line from the register that went out the door and around the building. I’m so proud of him, my sister-in-law, and niece for the great job they’re doing. They’ve put a lot of love and hard work into opening this beautiful coffee shop. If you’re ever in the area please stop by and say hello! They’d love to welcome you!
I also had the pleasure of having a little brunch day with my future daughter-in-law at a place here in Miami called, Bachour, in Coral Gables. Everything was delicious! We had the most delicious fluffiest guava and cheese pancakes, eggs Benedict, and yummy passion fruit sangria. It was the perfect day! I’m so happy we’ll get to create many more memories together. Love her!

I’m working on two special projects that will be launching this week! Stay tuned, because these are big projects for me and I’m so excited to finally reveal them! My newsletter subscribers will be hearing about them first! Subscribe here to get all the details!
5 Things I’m Loving 10.16.23
Now let’s get started on this week’s, 5 Things I’m Loving 10.16.23, featuring the prettiest new cozy arrivals for the fall and holiday season. We actually had beautiful, humidity-free weather yesterday in Miami and it made all the difference and inspired me to share all the cute, cozy, and stylish looks that I’m loving this week. I hope enjoy them as well!
One / New in My Flagship Shop
I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss the exciting news – in June, I opened a Flagship Shop, and I’m thrilled to tell you more about it. This shop is a fantastic concept because it showcases small brands, most of which are women-owned. It operates a bit like Amazon, allowing you to shop from different brands and check out all at once. What’s particularly special to me is that I get to work closely with the talented brand owners, sharing their products that I personally adore. And here’s a little treat for you: you can enjoy a 10% discount on your first purchase!
The Flagship team behind this endeavor is truly remarkable. They’re a group of young engineers, and they remind me a lot of my own son, who’s an engineer too. They’ve worked at some of the biggest companies and realized firsthand the need for a platform where influencers and small brands can connect, creating a beautiful shopping space that also offers savings.
If you’ve been following me for some time, you know that I take great care in curating the most delightful styles for both you and your home. Everything I feature is something I genuinely love and believe will add a touch of style and fun to our lives. That’s why I’m so thrilled to be part of the Flagship family, as one of their first influencers, partnering with these incredible brands. What’s more, I appreciate the generous commission structure, which is not often the case with many affiliate links.
I hope you’ll consider visiting my Flagship Shop whenever you have a special occasion coming up, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or just a little treat for yourself. Every week, I carefully curate Collections in the shop to make it easier for you to find something special.
I’ve made sure to include a variety of price ranges in the shop, so there’s something for everyone. I recently added a new brand to the shop, Sara Fitz, which offers delightful notepads and more. I use her notepads every day, and they’re not only practical but also incredibly cute. They make the perfect gifts for all the lovely ladies in your family. I’ve also stocked up on her note cards for those quick thank you notes and birthday wishes – now I’m all set for any upcoming celebrations!
I’m thrilled to share that today, I’ve handpicked a special Collection in my shop showcasing a delightful array of Gifts under $30. I hope you adore this selection of charming, budget-friendly gifts that you can either give to someone special or indulge in for yourself. Thank you for dedicating your time to explore my shop. Enjoy!
Two / My J.Crew Wishlist
Over the weekend, I ran a poll on my Instagram, asking my followers about their favorite places to shop for the holiday season. The overwhelming response was J.Crew, which I’m really happy about because I’ve been a fan of J.Crew’s collections for a long time. So, stay tuned for some holiday style inspiration! In the meantime, here’s my J.Crew wishlist that I’ve been eyeing. I’m planning to grab that green cardigan today before it’s gone!
Three / Target Holiday Finds
One interesting tidbit from my Instagram followers is that they prefer shopping at Target for the holiday season even more than Amazon. It was a surprising discovery! So, I’m excited to let you know that I’m planning to bring you plenty of holiday inspiration from Target this year. Stay tuned for some delightful holiday discoveries!
Four / New at Sézane
I absolutely love this French brand called, Sézane. I own quite a few of their sweaters and scarves and love everything about their design. I’m sharing my little winter wish list with you today. Everything is so dreamy!
5 / Stylish Mules for Fall and Holiday
I saw these gorgeous mules the other day and love them! They look like they cost way more than they do. I have a feeling they will sell out quickly, because they’re the perfect shoe for fall and the holiday season.
Wow, that post turned out quite lengthy! I appreciate your time and attention in reading it and dropping by today. It’s always a joy to be part of this wonderful community of women and to share beautiful things with you all. Much love, Desiree.
