If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that summer flies by way too fast—especially once June hits. So this year, I decided to make a list. A little bucket list of small, feel-good things that don’t take a ton of time, money, or planning—but still make the season feel special.
Think of this as your gentle reminder that summer doesn’t have to be one big vacation or a total productivity glow-up. It can be little moments of joy: a new book, an iced coffee walk, dinner outside with your favorite people. Nothing complicated. Just a handful of easy, dreamy, actually doable things to make June feel like… June.
So here it is—my June bucket list. Steal what you love. Add your own. Let’s make this month one to remember.
My June Bucket List (With Easy Ideas You Can Actually Do)
1. Go for morning walks before the day gets too hot
Bonus points if there’s iced coffee and a podcast involved. (Or just the sound of the waves.)
2. Try a new summer drink recipe
Mocktail or cocktail, your call. I love a white sangria that’s perfect for the weekend.
3. Light a summery candle every morning
Right now, I’m into anything with sea salt, coconut, or citrus. It’s the easiest way to start the day feeling calm and coastal. Love this strawberry matchbox too!
4. Bake something fruity and fun
Maybe a strawberry galette or blueberry muffins. Ina Garten would be proud.
5. Dress like I’m going somewhere fabulous (even when I’m not)
Flowy dresses, basket bags, and gold sandals—yes please. Getting dressed for no reason at all is the vibe.
6. Host an easy summer dinner outside
Doesn’t have to be fancy. Just something grilled, a fresh salad, and cold wine with good conversation.
7. Start (or finish) a really good book
I’m currently reading Funny Story by Emily Henry and loving it. Something light, funny, and summery always hits right this time of year.
8. Refresh one little corner of my home
Maybe it’s the entryway or my coffee table—something quick but satisfying. Fresh flowers from Trader Joe’s help too.
9. Pick one coastal-inspired outfit to wear on repeat
You know the one. The outfit that makes you feel like you’re on a weekend getaway even if it’s just Tuesday.
10. Do something that feels like a reset
A slow morning. A mini at home facial. A clean inbox (or just deleting 1,000 emails). Whatever brings a little peace.
If you’re craving a slower, more intentional summer, I hope this list gave you a little inspiration to start. It’s not about doing everything—it’s about finding small ways to soak it all in.
