Happy Monday, back to school, and Great American Eclipse day! Wow! That’s a lot! Today, I’ll be watching some of the solar eclipse with my brother, who has Down’s Syndrome. I’m sure he’s going to think it’s so cool! He’ll be with me for the day and we’re ready with our special solar glasses. I was seven years old during the last solar eclipse and I don’t remember it at all. My husband remembers going outside with his class and looking through a blue glass that was passed out to all of the kids. I’m curious if any of you remember where you were during the last solar eclipse that took place in 1979?

Today, I’m featuring the last outfit shoot I did while on the cruise in the port area of Costa Maya, Mexico. I loved the architecture, colors of the the walls, and the shopping wasn’t so bad either. We took a taxi to shop at a little market strip by the beach and I bought a tortilla holder that’s super cute and two Mexican embroidered tops. Mark & Graham sent me a bon voyage package for my trip that included this pretty monogramed wide brimmed hat which came in super handy while on the cruise. The monogram makes it so special and fun! I featured the pretty straw tote in this post earlier in the summer and I’ve been using all season long. It was the right size to tote around in Mexico.
