Summer is the perfect time to attend a brunch or even host a brunch for family and friends. The weather is usually nice and breezy which allows ladies to host brunch parties outdoors. Attending a brunch is a great way to get together with friends and catch up on their summer travels and beach getaways. I want to start by saying that I love wearing something pretty when attending or hosting summer brunches. Whether it’s a maxi dress, shorts, midi dress, or jumpsuit. Pastel Colored Dresses
Pastel dresses look beautiful on everyone and especially against sun-kissed skin. One of my favorite all time summer dresses is this pale orchid dress from J.Crew. It has a lace-up detail in the front that makes this structured linen summery dress cool and comfortable.

Eyelet Dresses
Eyelet dresses are always a great idea to wear in the summer and especially to a Sunday brunch. I consider them a summer must-have and can be worn to many warm weather occassions. This eyelet dress is from Ann Taylor and looks beautiful with a simple pair of sandals or wedges. It’s definitely a beautiful dress to wear if you’re the summer brunch hostess!

This silhouette is so much fun to wear to a summer brunch party. I never thought I would wear a cutout dress at 48 years old! What I love about this dress is that it covers the belly button and looks flattering. That’s what makes it work and why I added this look to this Sunday brunch outfits list.

Dressy Shorts Brunch Look
Once again, if shorts are included in Sunday brunch dress code, then elevate your look with a pair of dressier shorts. These high waisted shorts look great on everyone and are available in two more colors. I tucked in the simple white cotton poplin top to create a more polished Sunday brunch look.

Another great look if you are planning on wearing shorts to your Sunday brunch are paper bag shorts. These shorts are super flattering and usually have a tie at the waist.
