Hi friends! I hope you’re having a great start to your week! Today I’m sharing, 5 Things I’m Loving, featuring lots of new arrivals that you will love for summer, plus a little Goldie update. You can check out my last, 5 Things I’m Loving, for more summer inspiration.
Goldie Update
Goldie is now 14 weeks old and weighs 16 pounds! I can not believe how much she’s grown! And she’s a biter. But, she’s also sweet and cuddly! We love her so much and look forward to the teething phase to be over. A few women asked to share the link for her adorable blue and white floral collar. I also had her name embroidered on it and the shipping was surprisingly super fast.

OMG we have a yellow lab Scout who is two weeks younger than Goldie. He is a biter and a chewer as well. She is a great pup other than that.

Precious Goldie. We have two mini teddy bear goldendoodles (15 lbs each) and almost 4 years old. I would suggest having plenty of dog toys to play with (to bite and chew). Enjoy the cuddles, they are the sweetest.
(Also, check out Birmingham Pup Co on Etsy or instagram). My now 16 year old started her own business at age 11 during Covid and it’s still going strong).

Congratulations on your darling little girl, Goldie! Our Havanese, Teddy, was quite a chewer & biter when he was a puppy! We thought that phase would never end. He chewed up almost every shrub in our small walled English country garden – thank goodness, they all grew back in time. One tip I would give you is that it should NOT be acceptable for Goldie to bite your fingers or hands. You have to break her of this habit. We would have a chew toy nearby & when Teddy would try to nibble on our hands/fingers, we substituted the chew toy. It was tedious but it worked! They also experience the world through their mouths so just be patient, this phase will pass in time. Lots of safe chew toys are a must for the puppy stage. Enjoy every minute with her, they do grow up so quickly!
