Let me tell you something I’ve learned after years of beach trips, overpacking, and thinking I needed a whole drawer of swimsuits “just in case.” I don’t. I never did. So this year, I’m doing things differently. These are the only two swimsuits I’m bringing on vacation—and here’s why. They’re flattering, they make me feel good, and they go with everything I’m packing for Nantucket. I don’t have to think twice when getting dressed for the beach—and I love that.
These Are the Only Two Swimsuits I’m Bringing on Vacation—Here’s Why
The Pretty Printed One That Feels So Me
This suit feels like summer on Nantucket—soft lilac and blue block print, a flattering cut, and part of J.Crew’s Sculpt collection (aka it hugs you in just right). I love the dainty front detail and cross-back straps—it’s polished, pretty, and just the right amount of fun.
I’m pairing it with a printed sarong, woven tote, and these white flip flops I can’t stop wearing. Add a breezy patio lunch or a golden hour beach walk, and this suit’s living its best life.

The Classic One That’s Always a Yes
This navy striped one-piece from J.Crew is one of those suits that just gets me. The scrunchie material is comfy and holds its shape, and the stripes? So coastal, so classic. It gives effortless “beach house in New England” vibes, which, let’s be honest, is my whole personality in the summer.
I’ll wear it with white linen shorts, my favorite raffia tote, flip flops, and a straw bucket hat that gives the outfit that laid-back charm I love.

If you’re heading somewhere sunny or just want to simplify your summer wardrobe, I can’t recommend these two suits enough. And if you’re a fellow “pack light, but make it cute” kind of girl, this one’s for you.
