Fall Weekends 9.12.26
We’re just a few days away from the first official first day of fall and I wanted to get ahead of it and share a new series called, Fall Weekends. In these post I’m going to share a fun round up of fall things we’re loving, fun things to do, what I ordered, what I wore and more. I hope you will join me here every weekend this fall for all the cozy fun.
Things I’m Doing This Weekend
I just got back from visiting my dad and celebrating his 78th birthday! He lives about three hours away, so this little road trip is always a fun one for me.
The whole family was there, and we enjoyed a delicious Puerto Rican dinner last night, followed by my strawberry cake—which I made mostly sugar-free for him this time. This morning, we had a wonderful breakfast at his house before I headed home.
It was such a beautiful and blessed time together. I left with my heart feeling so full and thanking the Lord for the gift of my dad.
When I got home, I spent some time cuddling and playing with Goldie girl before catching up on a little work.
Tomorrow, I’m going to Mass in the morning, and then I’m going to ask my hubby to hang up a new mirror I ordered. I also need to wash my new embroidered bedding—which happens to be on sale right now—and catch up on a few more things around the house. It should be a sweet and productive Sunday!
Everything I Ordered for Fall (so far)
I went on a little shopping spree during the Labor Day sales and ordered quite a few pieces from J.Crew that I can’t wait to pack for New York.

What’s New Around My Home
I actually have a long list of things I’d love to do around my home, but September has been such a busy month that I’ll need to hold off on most of the projects until October rolls around.
The one thing I do want to accomplish now is hanging the new mirror in my living room, and I’ll be sure to share it once it’s up! And I’m really looking forward to decorating our home for fall and making everything feel warm and cozy for the season.
As for October, I’m hoping to paint a few rooms in our home, starting with our bedroom and guest room. Once those are finished, I’ll assess what project should come next.

What I’ve Been Wearing
I’ve been wearing my new barrel-leg jeans nonstop, and I always get so many compliments on them! They fit true to size and are incredibly comfortable.
I’m also loving my new eyeglasses! I’m so happy with the design I chose.
Whenever I go on a little road trip, I always pack this pajama set. It’s super soft, comfortable, and so cute!
